We are home!

Believe it or not, we actually all came home from the hospital tonight! Praise the Lord. Ashley's Doctor was very impressed with her progress from even just yesterday and said that if we wanted we could go home! Although taking her home was nerve-wracking for me (mom:) We decided she would get more rest at home than the hospital with people pocking her all night!!! Pray she continues to progress and that mom and dad stay sain as they change the bandages tomorrow:) Here are a few pictures from the day.

This was this morning at about 4. She was so happy to be up:) We weren't so much.


This is Cheryl her nurse that gave her all her medicine and took her blood pressure.


And this is Mandy and Nicole her other set of nurses. They listened to her heart and lungs and looked at her incisions!


All in all it was a good surgery. They ended up switching out the whole thing so the pluses are that she has a brand new shunt and that it only took an hour this time to find an iv sight:) Yes, last time it took almost an hour and a half! Thanks for the prayers
