Little Ashley Rae went in for surgeory this morning at 8:00. God was truly good to us and gave us great doctors and nurses. The surgeory itself lasted only about 30 minutes. Unfortunately for Ashley it took an hour and a half to find only one vain to put the IV in. Poor little kid has pokes all over! Unfortunately, they did have to shave part of her head for the surgeory:) The doctor saved the hair for us:) I put two pictures up. The one with her in little jean overalls was taken this morning around five. The one in the little green outfit was just a few minutes ago. She is now eating very well and actually smiling at us. I am sure the Lord helped us see the signs and get some very pro-active doctors to get this problem fixed.
Thank you to all who have been praying. Keep her on your list that the shunt will stay in place and will continue doing its job!!!

Wow, what an immediate answer to prayer-just to see that lovely little face smiling! We have been in constant prayer for you all, and will continue to pray specifically that the IV will continue to do well and that there will be no threat of infection. Once again, we love you!
