New Tricycle

Thomas got Ashley a tricycle last night and put it together for her. She loved it!! This was her telling the reflection in the oven about it:) If you can't understand her,she is saying, "Oh hi, I got a bicycle! Oh hi I got a bicycle from mommy and daddy! Hi daddy Boooo!"

She also loves to watch the My Friends Tigger that we have on DVR. There is one episode where the girl Darby is learning to ride a bike. They sing this song about You can do it, do it, do it. Ashley was riding her bike around the house singing that song:) Everytime we tried to get it on video though she would stop! Just thought how she put that together in her mind was so cute!!!

Ice Cream N funny stories

What is summer without a good ice cream cone from McDonalds:)

Ashley's new thing is what people say. Daddy says "Booooo" Mommy says "Hooray" Ashley says "Uh Oh" Grandma says "Oh my word" and grandpa says "Amen"

The other day Thomas Ashley and I were sitting in and around the sand box when Ashley through sand at Thomas. He initially laughed but then told her not to because he had just taken a shower and was about to leave. SHe stopped but then looked at me a couple minutes later and threw sand at me. I looked at her and said with a very serious tone, "Ashley, what did daddy say?" and in all seriousness she looked at me and said, "BOOOOOOOO" :) LOL!

Then we have been working on Ashley coming when she is called. Its not perfect but she is getting some better! So the other night Ash and I were reading a book before bed and Thomas was in the other room. I called out to him and said that we would only be another minute. We then finished the book and I called him to say we were done. Ashley then started calling, "Daddy, pray!" because that is always what happens before bed. As soon as daddy walked in the room Ashley looked at him and in the funniest/cutest tone possible looked at him and said, "Good Girl!!!" :)

Pixie's visit

Grandma's dog pixie came and stayed with us for a little over a week. They actually ended up being more like brother and sister than dog and friend but they were so cute! Almost every morning they both would get on the couch and look out the window as Ash would yell, "Good Mornin'"

THen one morning the house was really quiet. I went searching for the dog really and I found both of them enjoying cheerios on the kitchen floor:)

Daddy's princess

Ashley loves to be Daddy's princess. This is achieved by putting a towel on her head and her running around the house. Usually this is after her bath so its much cuter seeing her thunder thighs going under the towel:) Here is daddy and his little princess!

Our Cute little girl!

Ashley's vocabulary has truly had a huge burst in the last couple months! She is sure growing leaps and bounds.

Wednesday, she was with me in the copy room at church. She saw some books on the shelf and kept pointing. She then started standing on her tip toes and said Can't reach! I do not even remember using the word reach infront of her!

This morning She was running through the house yelling, To Rocket! One of her favorite cartoons (little einsteins) has that saying on it!

The most common saying in our house is "I sad" usually after she's been in trouble!

Then the funniest one:) The other day we were riding in the car just Ashley and me. She started pointing to her nose, eyes, ears, mouth, hair (or head) ect. I just thought i would take a moment and tell her how we should use her mouth. I figured it would be a good building block but that she wouldn't remember the concept:) I told her that we use our mouth for kind words. She then repeated, "Kind Words". We then proceeded to say what kind words are. Saying good girl to Pixie grandma's dog, or Love you to each other Ect. Ash eagerly repeated each phrase. Then the next day I was in the middle of a project and everything was going wrong. I turned to Ashley and said with utter frustration, This Stinks!!! She looked at me and said as clear as day, Kind Words! Corrected by a 2 year old!

I'm sure going to have my hands full!!

Date with Daddy

Ashley and Daddy had a fun date together while I was at a Mom-to-Mom sale last Saturday.
